• Account Information: Email, name, and encrypted password
• Financial Simulation Data: Your inputs (capital, contributions, goals) and saved simulations. Your simulations are private by default. If you choose to share a simulation (via share link feature), only that specific simulation will be accessible to people with the link.
• Payment Information: Processed by Paddle. We never see or store your credit card details
• Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, time spent — aggregated and anonymized to improve the platform
• Technical Data: Browser type, device info, IP address for security and troubleshooting

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

• Provide and improve our services
• Save your simulations and preferences
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send important account notifications (you can opt out of marketing emails)
• Analyze usage patterns to build better tools
• Provide customer support when you need it
• Detect and prevent fraud or security issues

We analyze data in aggregate — we look at trends across all users, not at individual behavior.

3. Data Protection

Your financial data is sensitive. We protect it with:

We share your data only in these specific cases:

• When You Choose to Share: If you use our share feature to generate a link to a simulation, that specific simulation becomes accessible to anyone with the link. You control what you share and can revoke access anytime.
• Paddle: For payment processing (they don't see your simulations)
• AWS: For hosting and data storage (encrypted)
• Anthropic: For AI features — only anonymized financial parameters, never personal information
• Analytics Tools: Anonymized usage data to understand how people use the platform

We share data only when necessary to provide our service, and we ensure our partners follow strict privacy standards. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Your Rights

You have complete control over your data:

• Access: Download all your data anytime from your dashboard
• Correction: Update inaccurate information easily
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data permanently
• Export: Take your simulations with you in standard formats
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing emails (we'll still send essential account notifications)
• Portability: Request your data in machine-readable format

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use minimal cookies for:

We keep your data as long as your account is active. When you delete your account:

Frugalist.club is hosted on AWS servers. Your data may be processed in different regions, but always with the same level of protection, complying with GDPR and international privacy standards.

Frugalist.club is not intended for users under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If we discover we have, we'll delete it immediately.
